The Self Locking Bottom Knives are made of 100Cr6 steel; however, depending on customer requirements, by providing us with a detailed technical drawing or a sample, we produce customized items. Sizes available: 46x25x10/8mm, 52x25x10/8mm, 77x45x10/8mm, 80x60x15/13mm.

Unlike other locking types, the Self Locking Bottom Knives allow for quick adjustment of the material cutting dimensions. These knives are locked onto the shaft, clockwise or counterclockwise, through a hardened eccentric ring that ensures stability. It is very important to remember the direction used during locking in order to unlock them in the opposite direction.

The standard sharpening angle is 3°.

The Self Locking Bottom Knives in sizes 46x25x10/8mm, 52x25x10/8mm, 77x45x10/8mm, and 80x60x15/13mm are designed to be used on cutters, label inspection tables, and rewinding machines. These machines are ideal for cutting a wide range of materials, including plastic and metallic films, tapes and adhesive materials, labels, tissue/fabric, paper and cardboard, rubber, flexible and adhesive laminates, as well as non-woven fabric.

The Self Locking Bottom Knives are usually mounted on the lower shaft. Together with conical knives and pneumatic and mechanical blade holders mounted on the upper shaft, they form the scissors cutting system. The conical knives and mechanical and pneumatic blade holders are also produced in-house.

The Self Locking Bottom Knives undergo a full hardening treatment. This process alters the internal structure of the steel, allowing the knife to maintain consistent hardness throughout.
