The Screw Locking Bottom Knives are made of 100Cr6 steel and K100, but they can also be produced in other types of steel. Sizes available: 58x35x11/10mm, 60x30x12/10mm, 77x45x10mm, 77x45x15mm, 100x60x20mm, 105x80x20/18mm, 105x60x20mm, 105x80x15mm, 120x80x20mm. Upon customer request, providing a sample or a detailed technical drawing, we also manufacture customized tools.
The Screw Locking Bottom Knives can be single-edged or double-edged. The main difference is that single-edged knives have only one sharpened side, while double-edged knives are sharpened on both sides.
These Screw Locking Bottom Knives, unlike other types, are locked in place by a screw fitted with a brass insert. The advantage of this solution is that the screw can be easily loosened using an Allen key. Once unlocked, the knife can be repositioned and locked again in a few moments.
Screw Locking Bottom Knives are generally recommended and purchased by those who need to frequently change cutting dimensions without having to fill the shaft with spacers.
The cutting edge angle sharpening is 3°.
The **Screw Locking Bottom Knives** are used on control tables for labels, cutters, and rewinder machines employed for cutting materials such as non-woven fabric, plastic and metallic films, paper and cardboard, flexible and adhesive laminates, labels, tapes and adhesive materials, tissue/fabric, and also rubber. Sizes: 58x35x11/10mm, 60x30x12/10mm, 77x45x10mm, 77x45x15mm, 100x60x20mm, 105x80x20/18mm, 105x60x20mm, 105x80x15mm, 120x80x20mm.
The Screw Locking Bottom Knives used on the lower shaft, together with conical knives and mechanical blade holders mounted on the upper part, form the scissor cutting system. Both the conical knives and the mechanical blade holders are produced in-house.
The Screw Locking Bottom Knives undergo a full hardening treatment that modifies the internal structure of the steel, allowing the knife to achieve the same hardness throughout its entire section.
The Screw Locking Bottom Knives can be resharpened, a process that restores cutting performance and precision. Resharpening is a sustainable choice because it allows maintaining the current knife, minimizing the environmental impact caused by manufacturing new knives.
