Rectified Simple Bevel Dished Knives

Rectified Simple Bevel Dished Knives measure 130x80x1.5 mm. They are produced in K100 Steel. Upon customer request, they can also be manufactured in other types of steel: low-chrome steels such as K720 and 100Cr6, or in ASP or HSS, which provide the knife with greater durability and better performance.
The conical knives are produced in three different bevel types: single bevel, double bevel, and concave bevel. The conical knife with a simple bevel is distinguished from the other bevel types by having only the cutting angle.
These knives are often available off-the-shelf with sizes ranging from an outer diameter of 62 mm to 180 mm. Based on the instructions provided by the customer, according to a sample or a detailed technical drawing, custom products can also be made.

The sharpening angle is 25° or 30°.

Rectified simple bevel dished knives are often used on inspection tables and cutting machines; but also on rewinding machines for cutting materials such as labels, flexible laminates and adhesives, non-woven fabric (TNT), films, paper, cardboard, and even aluminum. They are usually mounted on cutting systems with mechanical or pneumatic supports.

For rectified simple bevel dished knives, the front surface is always ground, while the back surface undergoes sandblasting treatment, making the latter clean and uniform. Upon specific customer request, it is possible to grind both the back and front sides of the knife.

Unlike flat knives, which are mounted on high-speed machines, conical knives are usually used on medium/low-speed machines.
Conical knives and blade holders with locking by set screw, pack, or ball form the upper part of the shear cutting group; they operate in opposition to the lower blades represented by the counter blades. The counter blades and blade holders in the various locking systems are our own production.
For rectified simple bevel dished knives, a resharpening service is available; this maintenance operation ensures cutting efficiency and quality. This service allows restoring the cutting edge and, if necessary, the bevel as well, thus extending the tool’s life. Resharpening is not only useful but also sustainable, as it helps preserve the blade, thereby reducing the environmental impact associated with producing new knives.
