The standard sharpening angle is 3°.
Double Edge Bottom Knives, available in the sizes 58x35x11/10 mm, 60x30x12/10 mm, 77x45x10 mm, 77x45x15 mm, 100x60x20 mm, 105x80x20/18 mm, 105x60x20 mm, 105x80x15 mm, and 120x80x20 mm, are used in label inspection tables, cutters, and rewinding machines. These tools are ideal for cutting various materials, including plastic and metallic films, flexible laminates, as well as rubber, paper, cardboard, non-woven fabric, labels, textiles, tape, and other adhesive materials.
This type of Double Edge Bottom Knives is mounted on the lower shaft, while conical knives, flat knives, and mechanical knife holders are installed on the upper shaft. These components work together, forming a shear cutting system. The conical knives, flat knives, and mechanical knife holders are manufactured in-house, ensuring precise and reliable operation.
Double Edge Bottom Knives undergo a full hardening treatment that modifies the internal structure of the steel. This process allows the knives to achieve uniform hardness throughout.
The cutting edges of the Double Edge Bottom Knives can be resharpened multiple times: this operation restores the cutting ability of the tool to its original quality condition. Resharpening is a sustainable option, as it allows the current knife to be retained, reducing environmental impact compared to manufacturing new knives.
| Bottom Knives sizes | 105x80x20mm., 130x80x40mm., 130x100x40mm., 238,73x210x10/8mm. |
