Double Edge Bottom Knives are made with a low chromium content of 1.5% (100Cr6), but they can also be produced with a high chromium content of 12% (K100). Double Edge Bottom Knives are called so because they are sharpened on both sides. These knives are available with three types of locking mechanisms: set screw, pack, and ball locking.

The standard sharpening angle is 3°.

The cutting edges of the Double Edge Bottom Knives can be resharpened multiple times: this operation restores the cutting ability of the tool to its original quality condition. Resharpening is a sustainable option, as it allows the current knife to be retained, reducing environmental impact compared to manufacturing new knives.
