Core Cutting Knives, dimensions 120x60x2mm + counter-bevels (15mm) in K100 steel.
The Core Cutting Knives Bevels 15Mm with dimensions 120x60x2mm are made of K100 steel. However, upon customer request, we can also produce them in other types of steel, such as high-speed steel (HSS), ideal for applications that require greater wear resistance and high performance. For special requirements, by sending us a sample or providing a detailed technical drawing, we produce custom products.
The tube cutting knives are available with bevels ranging in length from 10 to 25 mm. The choice of bevel size depends on the thickness of the material to be cut. A longer bevel facilitates blade insertion and can improve cutting quality. Their design allows operation at high speeds, minimizing dust production and ensuring a high-quality, precise, and clean result.
The cutting angle can be sharpened from 20° to 30°.
The Core Cutting Knives Bevels 15Mm are mounted on converting machines, particularly suitable for cutting materials such as rubber, non-woven fabrics, sponge, plastic films, and flexible laminated materials. However, they are especially effective in cutting cores and cardboard tubes.
The tube cutting knives are installed on the top of the shaft, qualifying them as top knives. They can perform “flying cuts” or with counterpressure, depending on the type of machine used. In addition, they can undergo grinding or heat treatment processes, which increase the steel’s hardness, improving wear resistance and extending the product’s service life.
An important service offered by our company is the re-sharpening of tube cutting knives. This process allows worn blades to be regenerated, thus reducing material and resource waste. After re-sharpening, the blades return to optimal conditions, ensuring high performance and prolonging the operational life of the tools. This sustainable approach promotes environmentally friendly practices, reducing ecological impact and optimizing the customer’s investment.
