Abrasive Cutting Knives 2 Holes

To view the price, register.

Abrasive cutting knives are used in the transformation of abrasive paper and cloth into rolls.
This type of blade makes a pressure cut against a contrast.

Abrasive Cutting Knives 2 Holes are made of high-speed steel (HSS), high-chromium steel with 12% chromium content (K100), or low-chromium steel (100Cr6). Available sizes: 80x40x1mm, 80x40x1.2mm, 90x40x1.4mm, 100x40x1mm, 100x40x1.2mm. Upon specific customer request, by providing a detailed technical drawing or a sample, we can produce customized products.

Abrasive cutting knives are available in two types: with holes and without holes. The choice between the two depends on the type of machine mounting system in use, as some systems require holes to ensure stable fastening, while others are compatible with models without holes. This distinction allows selecting the most suitable solution for the equipment’s specific needs, ensuring efficiency and optimal performance.

These Abrasive Cutting Knives 2 Holes are designed to be mounted on cutters specifically intended for cutting abrasive materials and tapes. They are often also called upper knives, as they are installed on the upper part of the shaft. They perform cutting against a counter element, such as bushings, which are also produced by us.

The surface of the abrasive cutting knives can be either ground or rough, and they are usually subjected to heat treatment (hardening). This process involves heating the steel to high temperatures and then cooling it rapidly, thereby increasing the overall hardness of the material.

A re-sharpening service is not available for abrasive cutting knives, as they tend to wear very quickly when cutting abrasive materials. In fact, these materials aggressively wear down the knife and can also damage its geometry. Consequently, when a knife no longer performs adequately, it is recommended to purchase a new one. In these cases, replacement is the most effective and safest solution to ensure optimal performance and safety during use.
